History of Education in 10 mins & the Problem

Education served a purpose when it came about in the 1800s and the purpose was to create a similar profile of people (during the industrial revolution). As time passed, the need of creating a single worker type (boxed) profile became less relevant due to the knowledge age (internet).
We believe our education is incomplete. Here’s WHY?
Education served a purpose when it came about in the 1800s and the purpose was to create a similar profile of people (during the industrial revolution). As time passed, the need of creating a single worker type (boxed) profile became less relevant due to the knowledge age (internet). However, the education system barely evolved.
Limitations of the education system:
  • It assumes that every individual has the same level of IQ & EQ
  • It assumes that education is like an assembly line and we all are buckets
  • It delivers information into the buckets (people)
  • Finally, a product (you) is created based on your assessments.
Salman Khan in the 10 minutes video, will take you through the history of education. and – If you like to develop your Life Skills, initiate a Life Coaching program.
So what do you do:
  • Traditional Education does still serve a purpose, it can help you get a job. Modern society still needs the marks, certifications, degrees to make you eligible to even apply.
  • But this is where it ends! Traditional Education can help you get a job but can’t help you keep it. Performance will and performance comes from Life Skills (like relationships, self motivation, passion, drive…)
