LSF Global – Engagement with a leading global insurance organisation
The client is a leading global insurer committed to advancing human progress by safeguarding what matters most to individuals, businesses, and communities worldwide. With a strong emphasis on building people-first workplace cultures, the organisation partnered with LSF Global to design and deliver a virtual training workshop centred on three interconnected leadership themes: Trust, Delegation, and Empowerment.
The workshop was developed to help leaders foster trust in the workplace, evaluate and improve their delegation effectiveness, and empower their teams to reach their full potential – integrating all three elements to drive measurable improvements in productivity and team cohesion.
As one of the world’s leading insurance companies, our client believes that great business results begin with great people. While their teams were highly capable, leaders wanted to strengthen three essential workplace skills building trust, delegating with confidence, and empowering employees to take ownership.
They partnered with LSF Global to design a virtual learning experience that would help leaders move beyond simply managing people and start creating teams that collaborate, take initiative, and perform at their best.
The goal was simple: give leaders practical tools they could use immediately to build stronger and more productive teams.
LSF Global designed a structured virtual workshop that moved participants through a progressive learning journey — from understanding the foundations of trust, to assessing their own delegation practices, to building the empowerment mindset needed to unlock their team’s potential. Each session combined self-assessments, group activities, real-world case studies, and peer-sharing to ensure learning was practical, reflective, and immediately applicable.

Integrating Trust, Delegation & Empowerment
The workshop followed a deliberate arc — opening with trust as the foundation, building into delegation assessment and skill development, expanding into empowerment frameworks and leadership behaviours, and closing with an integration session that connected all three themes into a unified action plan for each participant’s team.
Rather than delivering a traditional lecture, we created an interactive workshop filled with conversations, activities, self-reflection, and real workplace examples.
The session opened with a fun icebreaker that quickly got everyone engaged. From there, participants explored why trust is the foundation of every successful team.
Using examples from the client’s own workplace, including their Smart Working practices, participants discussed how trust is built over time. They learned about the three levels of trust and the four core elements—Ability, Integrity, Intention, and Track Record—and reflected on how these influence everyday relationships at work.
By the end of the session, leaders had a much clearer understanding of what trust looks like in action and how they could strengthen it within their own teams.
Many leaders believe they delegate well, but the workshop encouraged participants to take a closer look.
Through a self-assessment, they evaluated their own delegation style and discovered where they were doing well and where they could improve.
The discussion introduced the seven levels of delegation and helped leaders understand that effective delegation is more than simply assigning work. Small group activities allowed participants to exchange ideas, learn from one another, and identify practical ways to delegate with greater clarity and confidence.
The session concluded with a simple four-step framework that leaders could immediately apply in their daily work.
Once trust and delegation were in place, the conversation naturally shifted to empowerment.
Participants explored what it really means to empower a team and why empowerment requires “Smart Trust” rather than blind trust or no trust at all.
Real-life leadership examples and practical case discussions helped leaders understand how their own behaviour can either encourage or limit employee ownership. They also explored how leadership needs to evolve—from directing every task to coaching, supporting, and enabling people to succeed independently.
This was one of the most reflective parts of the workshop, with many participants recognising opportunities to change their own leadership style.
The final session connected all three concepts.
Participants discovered how trust, delegation, and empowerment work together rather than as separate leadership skills. They discussed how stronger trust makes delegation easier, and how effective delegation training creates opportunities for empowerment.
Each participant finished the workshop by creating a personal action plan with clear steps they could take to improve team performance back in the workplace.
The feedback reflected both the value of the content and the interactive learning experience.
