Marshmallow Challenge

30-45 mins. Team Building Activities for 10-20+ participants

Description

In 18 minutes, you need to build the tallest free-standing structure out of 20 sticks of spaghetti, 3 feet of tape, 3 feet of string, and one marshmallow. The marshmallow must be on top.

Game Rules

Teams cannot hold to the structure when the time runs out
Teams are free to break the spaghetti, cut up the tape or string into different forms
The tower cannot lean on anything
The marshmallow must be on top

Game Points

Team(s) build the highest structure will get 100 points
Team(s) build the 2nd highest structure will get 80 points
Team(s) build the 3rd highest structure will get 60 points
Team(s) build the 4th highest structure will get 40 points
Team(s) give up or break any rules will not get any scores

Objective

This team building activity is used to teach and develop individuals in the attributes of collaboration, innovation and creativity.
