In Hong Kong, they operate a vertically-integrated electricity supply business providing a highly-reliable supply of electricity to 80% of the city’s population. Outside Hong Kong, they invest in the energy sector in Mainland China, India, Southeast Asia, Taiwan and Australia. There business includes power generation, transmission and distribution, and electricity and gas retail activities. There goal is to meet Asia-Pacific’s energy challenge in a sustainable manner from one generation to the next.

  • Networking being the core expectation of the event, they wanted the female leaders to feel empowered and acquire new skills

LSF's Solution

• Introduction and Icebreaker:-

The session initiated with an opening note by Eileen, she shared the purpose and vision of the event with all the delegates. Followed by the opening note, the ‘networking’ activity was initiated and delegates were asked to meet & greet each other to know them better. Facilitator helped them interact with each other in a fun & interactive way.

• The Psychology of Influencing:-

Delegates were informed about the Psychology of Influencing in this section by helping them understand the definition of Influencing and why it is important, with the help of group discussions and small exercises guided by the facilitator.

• Influencing Techniques:-

This section focused on explaining the importance of Influencing skills and how to use it at workplace. Delegates were shown the demo videos and shown the influencing models to help them understand Influencing at work. Delegates were also empowered with the Influencing Techniques and frameworks which they can use in their routine life to implement Influencing.

• Stakeholder Management:-

Who are the stakeholders, why it is important to manage them strategically and how-to mange stakeholders, these are some important questions which the facilitator helped delegates understand with the help of Role-plays and group discussions.
